Into the Weekend with Anne

by anneandersonhomes

Greetings and Happy Spring! ?
I’m excited to share my latest listing! See video below. This one is in St. Anthony Park. Kelly and I will be there holding open houses on Saturday and Sunday from 11-1:00 so come on over and grab some lunch at Colossal Cafe or Nico’s Taco Bar while you’re at it! This one is a charmer!
This is the tightest market I have ever experienced in 15 years, and as the saying goes, “nothing good comes easy.” Many of our buyers that took our guidance and stretched their comfort levels, are able to enjoy increases in their home’s value practically before it closes! We have many more that are warriors that we are looking forward to seeing fulfill their dream of being homeowners.  Sellers continue to see unprecedented sales prices especially when they “do all the things” necessary to make a splash onto the market.
Check out all of the fun happening around town this week and beyond. A good friend has spoken highly of the Children’s Theater Company’s production of “Something Happened in Our Town.” We are planning to take that in. Hope you find time to enjoy all of the gifts and good around you.
A big ?CONGRATS? to Amy Dickson, our winner for a one night stay at Water Street Inn and Charlie’s Pub certificate!! Thanks to all who entered our drawing! We are already planning our next one. Stay tuned and follow on Instagram and Facebook @anneandersonhomes.
Have a great weekend!
Anne

Introduction to Nordic Peasant Knitting

Learn how to knit traditional stranded colorwork using what is known in the Nordic countries as “peasant knitting.” Working in the round with two colors at a time, knitters of old held one color in each hand, knitting as they led the cows back to the barn or wandered down to the docks, hoping to spy their beloved fisherman returning with a bountiful catch.
